Q: Where do I find my verification code?

A: In your email inbox! Look for an email from ROK Technologies with the subject line, Here is your 1-hour test drive verification code. In the email will be your unique verification code to activate your ArcGIS Pro instance in the Cloud. Make sure you check the inbox of the email you used to register. If you don’t see it, you may have some filters in place that sent it to your spam.

Q: I’ve already created an account, but I can’t log in.

A: It could be a couple of different things: 1. Are you entering in the email address you registered with? 2. Did you enter in your verification code first? You need to enter the code you receive by email to finish your registration and account creation. 3. Did you forget your password? You can reset it here if need be. 4. Did you already

Q: Why do I need to have a license with ArcGIS Pro?

A: The test drive is to experience ArcGIS Pro, not from your organization’s local hard drive but from the ever-present Cloud. In order to run ArcGIS Pro, Esri requires you to possess a named user license for the software no matter the source.

Q: Why does it take up to 2 minutes to load?

A: During that load time, your own dedicated cloud environment builds. This load time only happens initially. If you were able to log out (not available for this test drive) and then back in, ArcGIS Pro would load immediately.

Q: What data will I see once in the cloud?

A: You will first see one of the most notoriously difficult ArcGIS Pro projects to open and render - The City of Venice, Italy in 3D. We want to showcase how quickly the data renders in the Cloud.  You can also view the project, Brevard which shows more typical county level government data. To access, go to the Project Tab and click Open.

Q: Will I be able to access my current ArcGIS Pro data and account?

A: You can interact with the 2 sample projects or load data via your existing Enterprise Portal or ArcGIS Online account.  Typically, in a production cloud environment, you would have access to a network share and your Enterprise Geodatabase connections - but these have not been enabled for this demo.

Q: How much time do I have to explore ArcGIS in the Cloud via AppStream 2.0?

A: You will have one hour once you launch the ArcGIS Pro application. You will need to utilize the hour in one logged in session. You will get notified when you have 5 minutes left and once the hour has expired, you will not be able to log back in. If you need more time, please contact us for assistance.
